FSC® Certified Products
The Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC) is a global, not-for-profit organization dedicated to promoting responsible forest management worldwide. FSC defines standards based on established principles for responsible forest stewardship that are supported by environmental, social, and economic stakeholders. To learn more, visit www.fsc.org
FSC is committed to using the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as a framework for creating positive change globally. One of those SDGs is focused on creating quality educational opportunities for children. FSC works dutifully towards this goal by requiring FSC certified forests (especially in the Southern hemisphere) to include better schools for the children of forest workers as part of their certification.
To ensure sustainable practices, our partner factory sources wood from FSC-certified forests in Rajasthan and West Bengal, India. This includes mango (Mangifera indica) and acacia (Acacia nilotica) trees. FSC certification guarantees environmentally friendly harvesting methods that minimize deforestation, protect biodiversity, and maintain healthy forest ecosystems. The FSC 100% label is your guarantee that the product you're buying comes from responsibly managed forests. By choosing FSC 100% products, you directly support healthy forests for future generations.
