Generally excellent rug!

The colors of the rug (black & white) are very vivid and the workmanship is very good. There was no sprouting on the rug's surface no any discernible odor after unpacking the rug. The only unexpected things about the rug is that the four squares in the design are raised and higher than remainder of the rug. I didn't realize this which is minor issue since I have a dining table and four chairs on top of the rug. The other issue is that one short edge of the rug still hasn't flattened after lying on the floor after three weeks. I'm hoping over time it will lie flat like the short edge on the opposite side. The rug was purchased for durability as well as its design. It is lying in my dining room that gets a lot of direct sunlight so it remains to be seen how much it will fade over time.
